WHERE WRITERS UNITE FOR A POSITIVE CHANGE!

Patience

1. The state or quality of being patient; the power of suffering with fortitude; uncomplaining endurance of evils or wrongs, as toil, pain, poverty, insult, oppression, calamity, etc.

"Strengthened with all might, . . . unto all patience and long-suffering."

"I must have patience to endure the load."

"Who hath learned lowliness From his Lord's cradle, patience from his cross."

2. The act or power of calmly or contentedly waiting for something due or hoped for; forbearance. [1913 Webster]

I have had to go through hell and high water to learn patience. I know what patience is. It is when you want something so bad but instead of losing your mind over it, you wait for the right opportunity (or you wait for it to come to you, in some cases). Sometimes, especially in a relationship it is better to fight conflict with patience rather than words. I have been amazed at how rewarding it is to be patient. I am overjoyed to learn such a valuable lesson. You have to be patient to be happy.

One wise minister said, without Patience, you have no Power. How powerful we would be if we all learned to be a little more patient with our spouses, friends, children and even coworkers and bosses!-Sun
